Hatfield, PA, January 24, 2008: Jeff Paduano recently acquired Anilox Roll Cleaning Systems (A.R.C.S.) from previous owner Jim Heffer. A.R.C.S., established in 1988, pioneered the use of Baking Soda as a safe and effective way for cleaning Anilox Rolls. Jeff attributes A.R.C.S.'s continued success to providing their long-time clients with a unique cleaning methodology that provides consistent and effective results. A.R.C.S.'s client base is both diverse, serving converters in each segment of the marketplace, and extremely loyal. "We have many clients that have been with us since the very beginning, and that means a lot and we think is the best testament to what we do here" states Jeff.
A.R.C.S. prides itself on its track record, with over 10,000 rolls cleaned to date. "Baking Soda is a wonderful cleaning agent that works better than anything else on the market. Not only do we clean out every type of ink, including titanium and white ink, but we also excel at removing the tough stuff - glue and other adhesives, epoxy resins, and lacquers. Using Baking Soda has an added bonus - it's water-soluble, nontoxic, and nonhazardous - as defined by the EPA and OSHA. This really means a lot to every company we work with today."
A.R.C.S. offers both On-Press roll cleaning, a level of service not available through anybody else, and Off-Press capabilities, either in-plant or at one of A.R.C.S.'s two facilities. "When a client needs us right away, our ability to walk right up to their press and start cleaning greatly reduces downtime and also eliminates the risk of damage associated with unnecessary roll-handling. We restore rolls to their original volumes - and we want to get that message out to companies who still may have not heard of us. We have helped hundreds of converters extend their roll life, and avoid costly re-engravings and replacement roll purchases."
